After being let down with my previous engineer, I googled reputable names in the area and Stark Heating & Gas consistently popped up. They were in touch and with lots of information (a breath of fresh air), the service was on time and very professional - they have the gear and all the know-how! It looks like my previous engineer never checked the seals or state of the boiler internals... the seal was almost worn through! Stark diagnosed this plus more and I've never felt more confident. The liquid in my 10-year old system is also a rusty brown colour so I am taking up a system flush option; I did query the more expensive one and they did not up-sell so this will save me some money. These are good guys.

As you can imagine with an older house, it wasn’t the easiest of jobs! Floorboards had to be lifted, new pipes had to be laid (and first they had to find out where the existing ones were! 😂), and a new flue had to be fitted on the roof. Poor Ryan even ended up with numb hands holding the ladder! 🥶
I honestly can’t fault the service. Gary and Ryan arrived promptly at 8am and worked incredibly hard all day. The workmanship is excellent, they tidied up brilliantly, and you would never have known they’d been here. Gary also took the time to explain how to use my new boiler, which was really appreciated.
I have to admit, I was actually dreading the whole process, but I’m absolutely delighted with the experience from start to finish! ❤️

I highly recommend STARK heating and gas , Gary came at 8 am on the dot within 10 mins found the fault with my boiler the thermostat he went away to get a new one came back fitted it then serviced the boiler. Gary was so polite and explained everything to me. 5 star ⭐ plus from start to finish. My house is now cosy and warm. I can't thank you all enough for the quick service and friendly service very much appreciated.
